I went to see a comedian tonight. Well, I HAD to see him, as I was working the event, but I've seen his show before and I enjoyed it, so I was happy to stay this time.

He was reaaaallly funny. My stomach ached because I was laughing so hard for so long. Not a lot of comics can do that to me.

Anyway, I get to go home on Tuesday! I'm so excited! (despite the fact I won't actually pull into South Station Bus Terminal until around like... MIDNIGHT! X_X)

I was walking back to my dorm after registering for classes and I looked over to see a rather large squirrel digging in one of the gardens.

He sorta paused and looked at me, then went back to digging and stuffing his nose into the dirt.

The only thing I could think of:


"OMGOMGOMGWHERE'SMYNUTSIBURIEDTHEMRIGHTHEREOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGNUTS!"

Yeah, I was giggling the rest of the way home.

There have been an increasing number of black squirrels around, but every time I see one I can't help but think:

It's an anti-squirrel.

As much as I really really don't want to do ANY of my work--

--when I get it done it's the best feeling.

Have your cellphone be right near your head and the TV playing some episode of Law and Order. Preferably one where they listen to messages on a phone.

Wake up just slightly, enough to hear and have your brain able to semi-process what you hear.

Make sure to wake up at the point where they are listening to a recording on an answering machine:
"How many times do I have to fucking call before you pick up the phone!" from a guy with a really scary, deep, gravely voice.

Don't realize that your phone doesn't actually play the message out-loud while recording, and commence freak out.

So I decided in order to make this feel like a non-fail journal I would attempt to post every day of the happenings. If it's boring I apologize but it'll make sure that if something big DOES happen I'll already be in habit to write it down.

Oh! One big thing that I might not have mentioned yet!

I HAS A PUPPY!!!!! He's a black lab and his name is Ranger. ^_^ He's sooo cute. He is black as the freaking night with little white spots between his toes! It was awesome when I had to take him out at night and he would just vanish into the darkness. Even better when we had a little strobe light collar on him and all we could see was a blinking orange strip of light running in circles!

I miss him so much... I spent the entire summer watching him (we got him in early July... maybe late June) and now I've spent like two months with NO PUPPY! I get to see him over Thanksgiving but seriously! My dad has been sending me pictures and video of him all freaking semester. I want my puppy! D:

So... rice is really heavy if you buy it in bulk. How the hell do little itty bitty grains weigh so much! I'm just glad that the grocery store is within a block of my dorm... but still... T_T.

I wonder who you go to if you need to find out that you have S.A.D... is it a doctor or a psychiatrist? Hum... I'm stuffed full of sweet and sour chicken so I'm sorta content right now.

I'mma gonna go back to watching National Treasure now, they're about to find the treasure!

Okay, so I totally suck at the whole "keeping up with updates" thing, but I'm trying. I suppose I just don't find things interesting enough to write about in a journal, haha.

I liked the idea of not having numbers in my email address, it makes me feel unique. That and I figure that AmbrosiaWriter fits me better than anything other that I've used over the years.

Having no money SUCKS. What also sucks is only get ~$120 every two weeks if I'm lucky. It's a little obnoxious but luckily my mom decided to pity me and send me some food money every week. I wish I had a job that had constant hours instead of relying on when a space is booked for an event to give out hours.

Anyway:

Stress levels are high, I think that perhaps I'm starting to suffer from SAD (Season Affective Disorder). Stupid people make it worse when they decide they are going to consider themselves a level above everyone else and their writing and condescendingly critique them instead of speaking with them on the same level. You aren't published nor a professor, STFU and stop thinking your writing is better than mine.

This is why I really hate workshops.

Oiy. Moving on, I've been sick on and off like whoa lately, and it's starting to really wear me out. I think I'm going to go take a nap now, and enjoy every fricken minute of it.

Just woke up, but yeah, that's what happens sometimes. So.

Deciding that I need to cosplay something again, (something that I personally want to cosplay and not something that someone asks me to) I chose CC in her uniform from Code Geass. Why...? Because even though it's a nice cosplay it's not crazy ass with the wig and outfit like most my other costumes had been (omg floofly cloak).

I think the most annoying thing will be the boots actually, everything else seems very straight forward.

 

Seeee.? I also have a buncha friends that are picking out characters from Code Geass to work on, and one of them decided on Lelouch, so this should be a very interesting time.

I decided that I have outgrown my old Live Journal (and all the good and bad things that are connected with it) and start a new, better one. That I will actually keep up with. Hopefully. I will make a valiant attempt at this. I will also post in my old Livejournal for people who want to follow me just in case. ^_^

So yeah, I'm at college, getting my ass kicked by some courses, pissy at others, and enjoying the last of them, and writing a ton, which makes me the most happy.

I think I might end up using this journal to put up pieces of writing that I'm working on and such, and also to just keep people updated on my life who have not been in the loop 100% of the time... which is what I should've been doing. I'll make a post again later on, to give info on cosplay shenanigans and other things, so see you soon!!
